I thought he was one of our best players last season. Yeah I know, we finished last! I don't think it is a coincidence that Hubs has suffered without him, considering the chemistry they had last season. He was also good in shootouts, and was responsible defensively (unlike many of our forwards atm!) And could put the puck in the back of net.

Understand that we want 1st liners more than 3rd liners. And yeah he went to Switzerland so obviously I'm missing something.

He had 2 goals the last 30 games of the season (in a 48 game schedule) and he was a healthy scratch a couple times by the end. He had about 5 good games, but was terrible otherwise. We have Huberdeau and Boyes for shootouts, and as was seen with Wolski, a shootout specialist who can't do anything else is useless.

For a intents and purposes Boyes replaced Mueller. Frankly Boyes is a big upgrade.

You can never have too many though! And the shootout was a nice extra about him.

Chemistry isn't worth much if the player is worthless in every other area. Defensively responsible? Is this the same Peter Mueller we're talking about? I saw this Versteeg carbon copy that floated back into the d-zone while admiring the flow of his majestic hair. ucant already pointed out his lack of goal scoring above ^.

Also Mueller is in no way a 3rd liner, since all he can do is offense, and even that very poorly.
