Bobby Mack said on insider trading, the Leafs are in the early stages of contract talks.

I am interested to see if this gets done, and if itt does what he signs because they do have spots to fill for next season.

Really hope they get a decent term and AAV (like 3-4 years at 5ish). He was our best D before going down along with Holl. Holl is already signed and Sandin making an impact. No need to resign Barrie. Muzzin is more important.

Foot speed is not exactly a concern for his size yet. But he is the type to lose it sooner rather then later due to playstyle.

I think Muzzin would budge on $$. But he would want security/term. Should be interesting.
