Keith is very good. But this Rielly kid has more talent at the same age. He is just now starting to believe in how good he is. If you let him play on a team with more talent, it would be sick to watch him.

Check out the stats on the two of them. Heck, at 21, Keith wasn't even in the NHL. His AHL stats were poorer than Morgan's NHL stats.

Trading Rielly would be insane now. You had better be getting something ridiculous back. Too bad the goalie didn't open his legs more for Rielly to have scored a highlight reel goal last night. Oh well.

We had better think twice of trading his best friend too, Jake Gardiner, to keep Morgan happier.

Morgan is a lot heftier than Keith as well. Pretty soon, we might see him putting some guys through the boards as he gets more and more confident.

Lots of defensemen had better stats at age 21 than Keith. Very, very few of them actually ended up being better than Keith.

Saying Rielly is better than a late bloomer before he bloomed doesn't really prove anything.

I think Rielly has elite potential. Whether he reaches it or doesn't (and simply becomes a good top pairing defender) remains to be seen.

No Pain No Gain is a fitting thread title.

This Leafs roster really lacks offensive talent at present.

11 goals for in their last 10 games win just 1 time.

Its amazing that for the last 3 games Leafs haven't even recorded a shot on net in the first 10+ minutes.

Leafs Get Shut Out, Drop Fourth Straight

Jonathan Bernier stopped 28 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have lost nine of 10 (1-7-2). Toronto has been outscored 31-11 during that stretch.

"We worked hard, we competed hard," Toronto coach Mike Babcock said. "In the end, you like to leave the building feeling good because you finished. There's no sense feeling sorry for ourselves, no one else will. We have to find a way to get up."

scoring an avg of 1.1 goals/game in the last 10 games, it's amazing they even have 1 win. Reimer and Bernier both are NOT the problem now, they need scoring, JVR is missed, we could also use Kessel:sarcasm:

It's funny you should mention Kessel. While the Leafs have 10 points in their last 9 games, Kessel has 9 points in his last 9.

LOL. We could use Kessel. Is it possible Pitts trades him back :D lol

He isnt really producing at the pace they expected. i.e. they dont really need him.

It's amazing reading you guys. "We could use Kessel" for what? You guys think that we're a Kessel away from being good. That's hilarious!

We may actually have raised his value.

Don't forget we pay what $1.25M a year of his paycheque. If he got hot, they could actually trade him for far more than the pittance we got for him. If Pitts. misses the playoffs we don't even get that first until 2017.If he got hot I wonder what his value at $5.75M per year would be?
