Capitalize on opportunities (PPs)

Play a sound game that doesn't exclusively rely on flying through the neutral zone.

Start tailoring our game to beat a teams structure/system.. rather than force our own.

Ya know what pisses me off, people are saying every team had bad games like the one in Arizona...

Yeah tell that to Tampa and Boston.

They both haven't had a bad game in 2 months.

Be real and say that this team takes days off sometimes, and they gotta learn how not to. Whether that's on the Coach or players, it's time to figure it out, or we probably get cleaned out in the playoffs.

Might be the most challenging game of the season. This is a team that has historically shut down the Leafs, and right now they are hotter than ever. Leafs will really have to work for this one if they want to win.

Just show up and we will get points, ffs its not that hard with a team like this. Play with heart and we will win 8/10 consistently. We arent good enough to win low event or lazy hockey games.

This is a lie.

Boston was more or less 50/50 win or loss a given night before they decided to go 8-0-2 in their last 10.

Last I checked Leafs have a 75% points percentage in their last 10. You can't discard that just because Boston had a 10 game stretch where they got 90% of the points.

Tampa is Tampa but all other 29 teams are flop compared to what they do in the regular season.

Bad feeling about this one fellas. St. Louis plays a very good defensive game and once they get the lead they shut teams down, if they get a two or three goal cushion they might shut us completely down like they did in the game in October. Obviously hoping we torch their asses though. GLG!

Eh all is forgiven if they come out and the Give-A-Crap meter is at 11.

If this is another mail-it-in effort, dial back your expectations of this team this year boys, we won't be winning anything.

Boston had a really easy schedule the 5 games before last night. Had LA twice and Anaheim once. They should have lost last night and have the Golden Knights, Blues, Lightning and Sharks again for their next 4 games. If they win all 4 we might be in trouble but expect a few losses in there.

There’s no better team to bet as an underdog than the leafs. There’s also no team worse to bet as the favourite than the leafs. If you’re dropping some $ on the game leafs are a good bet imo as the underdog.

Jordan ***** Binnington... 10 in a row? Seriously? These guys were dead last in the league on Jan 1st. Our boys better show up because STL and Tank will light us up if we get another AZ 'dip' as Babs calls it.

Please no Hainsey on the top pairing!

So CJ says Johnsson is returning, per Babcock

But Shilton says Babcock didn't confirm, nor rule out Johnsson returning.

Which one is it....

AJ said he didn't feel 100%..im sure he can play through a Charlie horse but the Leafs are typically cautious with any injury.

Yes Hainsey on the first pairing again. Great idea

PM with AM - wonderful

And let's keep Nylander on the third line for reasons....

Unfortunately we will need to hit a losing skid before changes might be contemplated.

I watched the whole STL/MIN game on Sunday and the Blues really impressed me of how structured they were defensively. Definitely an eye opener coming from what we used to see here in Toronto.
