Hope to see Liljegren get rotated back in. He shouldn't be sitting on the sidelines for too long based on his overall play this season.
Keefe seems to be doing better this year with the lines and lineup but the defensive rotations still seem to be a weak spot for him.

Both teams coming in with a 5 game win streak. The wild have been electric. Kaprizov has 17 points in 8 games.

Colorado was hot as well. The Wild having any Goalie issues?

I'm the same. Keep waiting for the shoe to drop and some old habits creep back in but instead they just continue to impress.

You have to know they can't win every game but it's hard to see them losing any now.
They read there press clippings think they are good and start to let the bad habits back into there game

Not your daddy's Wild here.

This is a high-tempo attacking offensively skilled Wild team. And they're very good.

Leafs need to take this game every bit as seriously as they did the Avs game.

Talbot has been solid all year and I wonder how long he can keep it up. I’ve never been sold on him but he is rocking a .914 save %. I doubt this will be a blowout like Colorado

He's always been decent, IMO.

When was the last time we played in Minnesota? Seems like forever.
I recall it was a Jake Gardiner homecoming.

A 4-1 win on New Years eve in 2019 (right before we were hit with our favourite year). Kerfoot, Nylander, Matthews, Tavares scored, Andersen in net.

In Minnesota really reminds me of when Nylander was finally signed right at the deadline, which was December 1, 2018. That news kind of took away from the game. Which was a 5-3 win. So recent success in Minny, even though it doesn't feel like it.

Need to apply some smart strategy based on statistics.
from Moneypuck...
If they either:
Beat the wild in regulation,
Beat the Wild in OT or
Lose to the wild in OT,
....the odds go down that the leafs make the finals

Hence...the only plausible strategy is that they lose to the Wild in regulation to keep the odds of making the finals unaffected :laugh::laugh:

nah. Win and increase odds to win one round. That is goal they should be focused on.

I was being facetious. It's just a great example of statistical hubris and a common mistake when looking at stats with no regard to experience.

Did I just hear Marner got hit by Muzzin, and walked out of practice?

Edit: found video of Marner talking to muzzling after the hit

Man..what an explosive confrontation....

Did he walk out of practice when it was over?
