Agreed. He's a great coach but Marner is clear a top 3 (if not better) player on Canada in terms of talent
I haven't really seen much of Marner.

We need to get Backstrom, the chemistry between Backstrom/Nylander is unreal.

Nylander is carrying Backstrom just like Nylander makes a lot of players look good
Don't get fooled, Backstrom isn't doing much
Their coach really is an idiot. Put a guy who can pass and shot and is leading your team in points...in the middle where he's never going to get a pass!why does nylander play in the most ineffective spot possible on the Sweden powerplay LOL

Lucky for Canada.
They are doing a good job going head to head in that respect. But at least Marner's line is getting out there and getting chances. The Swedish coach is killing his PP.Can't be any dumber than Jon Cooper
Putting our top 3 player in Marner on the 4th line
Wow....a comedy of errors on that PP.

Marner shouldn't be playing with guys like Konecny and Point
He should be playing with Giroux and ROR
It's a complete joke
And our PP has been the weak spot so far, despite having the talent to have a really good PP. Geez wonder why... :
You put Bäckström in his usual spot, Nylander on the opposite wall and Hedman on the blue and you have the basis for a triple threat PP that threatens the PK from all angles. But no, let's keep our extremely ineffective PP static in every way other than making the least sensible change ever, moving Nylander to the slot.

Canada just did what the Canadian hockey establishment has long accused Swedish players of doing...clearly faking being hit by a high stick.
