Yeah i didn't expect him to make the roster after seeing the NHL players heading over. Would have been nice to see him in action. Looks like he only gets in a game if an injury hits.

Other good players at this tournament, hopefully Nylander and Marner soak up even more experience.

Marner currently playing on the 4th line with point and shenn I believe. Had a decent showing against the Swiss in a pretourny match.

Rosen is 7th or 8th down. Like the previous poster said. Likely see action if they have an injury.

No idea what Finland is doing with m. Aaltonen. Per the HF boards... He's rt wing on top line..all the way down to alt 13th forward. Who knows.

Not sure if hertzog is playing or not.


And Willie.. well he's Willie. And Willie's alright.

I read that Nylander is in a top 6 role playing with Carl Soderberg and William Karlsson. The other top line is Lindholm, Rask and Landeskog

Would have preferred if the kids didn't go, and spent that time resting and training.

However, if they one day want to have a deep run at the Stanley Cup, then they will need to get used to play hockey at this time of the calendar year.

I won't be watching much, but hopefully you guys can keep providing good updates on how our boys are doing.

Is Marner expected to play with Duchene and O'Rielly??

If he does it wouldn't surprise me if he leads the tournament in scoring.

I know Rinne is obviously still playing with Nashville but surely Finland has a better option than Korpisalo in net? What a disaster that play was.

Not that I mind... Sharangovich pulls Belarus within 1!!!

Seems like Nylander has started every shift in the defensive zone so far, strange decision by the Swedish coach.

not a terrible decision considering his zone entry abilities.

Playing center to start this period aswell

The biggest question I have and have held is... Mitch had a really bad PO really outside pts. They said he had Mono... That takes a long time to heal... Why are we exposing a recovering player to more hockey?
