Leafs and Habs - who makes the playoffs this year?

I don't think either of them are going to make the playoffs tbh, but I think of the two the Habs have a better chance.

I'll go with the Habs.

Past practice has the Habs finishing last season after 29 games with a 30-20-3 record. The Leafs finished up last season after 29 games with a 25-20-8 record.

The Habs are simply more clutch down the stretch.

Changed my vote, with Babcock fired this is a different Leafs team. The Leafs should make the playoffs now.

Ya they sure looked like a different team against the Flyers.

I voted neither. I think Boston, Tampa and Florida get the top three spots in the division and the two wildcards go to the stronger Metropolitan division.

I wanna say Habs and not Leafs but in reality it’s probably the other way around. Leafs need to go roughly 32-20 the rest of the way which is very doable with all that offensive firepower up front. I just don’t see that same firepower in Montreal.

I don’t see the metro as that strong. Washington and the Isles are locks. The Pens should get in too. The rest are a crapshoot.
