Really interested to see how Donaghey and Rodewald do for Ottawa (never was huge on Rupert, but I'll keep an eye on him too), to see what we let go.

Palmu is very entertaining to watch. Doubt he'll make it, but glad Montreal is giving him a shot.

Davidson is a smooth invite by PIT. A guy I had my eye on going into this year's draft.

This looks like a decently tough tourney this year.

We have some prospects here on their last legs this year to be sure.

Nice to see Andreas Johnson on the roster. Hopefully he's recovered well!

Andreas Johnson should be the best player in that camp. I read he had recover a while ago, his first concusion.

That guy who's home arena this is.. you know #93? I think he'd have something to say about that.

Also let's not forget Dermott, Timashov, Sergachev, and Perron exist.

This is pretty much a step down for Andreas Johnson and a step up for Dermott, Timashov and Marner.

Yeah I really don't see anyone on any team's roster that comes close to touching Marner's level.

If Pitt's group win a game they have to call that a pretty good success right?

Think the Sens lineup looks decent.

Our roster looks pretty strong. A few returning AHL players like Gauthier, Valiev, Bibeau, Smith and Lindberg. Slightly surprised at this, as we tend not to use these guys and fill the spots with invites.

Looking forward to this.

I don't think any of those groups look very impressive. They've got some nice pick ups here and there, but their depth as a whole looks pretty weak.

Piccinich would probably be in the middle of the pack on those other teams.

We've got most of our guys down, which is good since there doesn't seem like there are many good players to really invite this year. Some of them would be good depth pieces, but they aren't better than what we already have.

From what I've seen, Wong may be one of the best guys out there. He could easily surpass 100 points in the WHL next year if he goes back.

I have a feeling they are using these guys as benchmarks to mark the progress of the rookies, especially since they have little to no pro experience. They may also use these guys to judge who still fits in the picture and who doesn't. It's a lot easier to see if Piccinich is worth keeping around if you compare him to someone like Lindberg, especially since they'll be fighting for the same spot.

Also remember that guys like Gauthier, Valiev and Lindberg are still quite young.

Where is Mathews?

I don't think he needs a Rookie Tournament. Plus probably the World Cup of Hockey. Nylander is not there also for probably the same reason.

I don't know why Kapanen is not there though...

We are also missing James Greenway, Joseph Woll I notice also.

Once again, no Europeans or NCAA players will be at this tournament. They have their own crap to do. In fact, you can already see highlights of players like Korshkov in the regular season I'm pretty sure.
