This kid was full of potential a couple of years ago, how is he generally looking in the AHL?

I’ve only watched him a handful of times but he’s shown nothing to make me think his potential is any less. Should be a solid NHL player at the very least.

Leads the Griffins in +/-. Kind of the prototypical under-the-radar solid player.

He’s just really solid. Not a liability whatsoever. Holds down the fort, adds a bit of offense though doesn’t get the chances Edvinsson does for obvious reasons. Deserves a cup of coffee at some point in the show this year. Once the logjam ahead of them clears there should be a Seider, Edvinsson, Walman, Johansson, Wallinder, plus company backend in Detroit.

I think the Wings are pretty high on him. Lidstrom and others have singled him out multiple times over the past few years when asked about prospects they're excited about.
