Individual deadline deals of picks 3rd or later...if the GMs have done deals previously these also play a role.

No...they were not.

Marody traded in March 2018...for a pick in 2019. So they had no idea where it would be.

Rinaldo traded June 29th 2017...for a 3rd in 2017. Again, they had no idea where it would be.

Anyone who watched today's game knows why the Flyers won't trade him for a 3rd like some suggested. It would have to be a 2nd+. Something to CONVINCE the Flyers to trade a player they look highly upon.
