Lappin's a RW, Cammy's a LW. There's no way they're connected. If they were going to scratch Camm - which they're not unless he's hurt - they'd just move Bennett or Boucher up.

I wouldn't look at it that way. Because he certainly didn't earn it. He has not been better in Albany than anyone of those players mentioned.


I would imagine there is a RW vacancy somewhere.

Lappin being a righty is really what gives him the step up on all those guys.

Lappin, if he didn't make team out of camp, was long considered the first RW to get the call.
