Pavard does play at RB yes but Kounde would surely be better there if needed.
Who's a better CB right now?
Kounde, Laporte, Lenglet, Varane, Zouma, Kimpembe, Upamecano?
There's no way that right now Kounde isn't top 4 among these guys.

He still does and I don't really fault DD for it ever since Koscielny is gone. Kos might be a good character but he had nothing to do starting for the NT given the depth we had. Laporte was called up once he was gone, but really, we have better options.

I dont see 3 cbs better than Laporte over the past 3 season but if you dont want him send him down south please.

Varane is better but ouf ot form and I'd argue Kimpembe is just as good. Agreed with the rest. He should never be lesser than 3rd on the depth chart.

I agree, but Varane with the NT is still top Varane. His WC was insane.

What's funny is that on current form, the U21 NT CB pair (Kounde/Fofana) is better than the senior NT pair.
