Fun win to see as a supporter. Not perfect mind you, but I liked the creativity and the goals. We could have had 8 even were it not for being just offsides, some off finishing or a save.
  • Not sure if Busquets was being rested or if he got hurt, but I thought he was very good in the first half. Played that excellent ball over the top for Messi only for the goal to be disallowed for offsides. Also, Riqui cited him after the match saying he's helped both him and Ilaix a lot.
  • Really like the midfield with both Pedri and Puig out there. Something I've been asking for for some time now. Pedri's through ball to Messi on Trincao's second goal... No wonder Messi likes playing with him. Also had a nice ball to Firpo when Griezmann's shot went wide. Kid was all over the place too.
  • Ilaix with a poor giveaway leading to their goal, but mistakes happen. He was calm and didn't just take a shot when he got the assist on the opener.
  • Very happy again for Trincao. He could have had 4 goals were it not for just being barely offside and Pacheco getting his fingertips to another.
  • With every match I like Mingueza more and more. I don't care if he's never a full time starter, but again we need squad players like this and a local lad who's a La Masia graduate fits the bill.
  • Messi is the King. What else can you say? Two great goals. Where's the "free kick specialist" nonsense now? I will say he didn't look entirely happy until his second goal. I fear he's partially frustrated playing with the kids, but then that's on him. Better than playing with a lot of the older players he might be more accustomed to.
  • Both Trincao and Riqui showing their class off the pitch too as they both backed Ilaix after the match.

The youth is looking solid. Gonna be interesting to see how they all fit in once Fati comes back.
