He's a big mouth and says alot of things. Even after reading/hearing his comments, i still never doubted him only want to play for the team he got drafted by (and was a fan of). Granted, the money seems fair as well (not necessarily a discount all things considered).

I read that more as them referencing those early comments where Doughty said he wanted cash, and that any Ontario-born player would love to play for the Leafs.
