I bet my house that the Leafs didn't offer Kadri for Berglund. That's the misrepresentation of facts when they got word the Leafs have interest in acquiring Berglund. The fact this trade hasn't been consummated since the Leafs are the ones who've supposedly made the offer is the tell that this is total BS . St. Louis asked for Kadri in return which is why this is a rumor and not an actual consummated trade.

Their is something to this interest in Berglund. It speaks of the Leafs preparing for life without Bolland

Sources saying #Sabres/Nolan have finalized terms on new #NHL contract. Believed to be a 3 yr deal. Announcement to come early next week.

We will see if this one comes true.

After Shanny was hired, I don't recall Shanny or Kyper saying Carlyle was going to be 100% fired. They pretty much said Shanny was going to come in and review everything from coaches to scouts to player moves. Not sure where you got the impression Shanny was firing Carlyle.
