What are your expectations of the great Russian hope we waited so long for, now that he has NHL experience and a full pre-season with the team? Personally, I'm hoping for more shots/goals (maybe 25-30), and 60-70 points, that would be a good season for him. The lad has the skills

Very low after hearing Trotz does favor young players and that he was injured 6 times last year, and appeared to be favoring his shoulder in all his time here. So let's call that 7.

Lame thread on draft day a day to focus on new prospects

Kuzya was .5 ppg last year playing 4th line and 2nd unit PP minutes in his first NHL action with an injured shoulder. He showed some good defensive awareness, so I hope that will ingratiate him to the new coaching staff.

65gp, 50p.

Without knowing how he will be used it is hard to make anywhere close to an educated guess. I keep putting him on the right wing with Ovechkin and Backstrom as well as 1st unit PP time so if that ends up being the case I'd feel safe betting on 20-40-60.

Put him as a playmaking C with Chimera and Wilson to minimize contact, 40 pts in 65 games.

With Trotz? You gotta be kidding. Either Trotz is fired half the season in or Kuz and Ovi will start packing. Trotz is the worst thing that could happen to the Caps.

His biggest impact should come by way of shootout. We lost 11 of them. If he helps us win 7+ of those 11, we make the playoffs. He'll probably also put up about 50pts in streaky fashion.
