and underrate NHL experience as a factor in development as well

they're both in their 6th season in the league and Mackinnon actually has 7 more regular season games played in his career than Kucherov does(in which Kucherov has 54 more points for the record)

They're the same type of player to me, but Kucherov is the better version.

Neither player will bring their best for the full 82 games of a season, but when they are at their best, they're worthy of being the best player in the world. Kucherov's best is better than Mackinnon though.

Kucherov is doing now what Mackinnon did at the start of the season.

MacKinnon has 18 goals and 41 points in the first 25 games of the season.

Kucherov has 14 goals and 47 points in his last 25 games.

Kucherov. Best player in the world at the moment (and arguably for a while now). Mack has a sick contract though. Both do, actually.
