Pit won the Cup without him. Making a lot of money over the next 3 years and had a really bad playoffs. Candidate to be moved? This gif pretty much describes his play:
They'd each score 60 points and probably end up minus 15Just imagine a Letang/Gardiner pairing......
I know HF is the ultimate place for what have you done for me lately, but you’re going to question key players from a back to back Cup winning team?
Won without him in 2017 but was probably the pens best player in 2016 and a big reason that team was so dominant. Letang hasn't been the same since his injuries last year.
Letang directly lost the Pens the last 2 games. he needs to go
Yeah people acting like he was always this bad. Not long ago he was one of the top d-men in the league. Even though the 2017 Pens still won it all, their run was very different than 2016. The difference with/without Letang was very obvious. 2017 the Pens had no business beating Washington, they got killed, only winning because MAF played out of his mind.Won without him in 2017 but was probably the pens best player in 2016 and a big reason that team was so dominant. I'd glady take both on the Habs. Fans are so fickle, it's patheticJust imagine a Letang/Gardiner pairing......
If you're referring to the OT goal, at least 50% of the blame has to go to Crosby bumbling a headman pass during an OT line change. At the very least, he needs to neutralize that puck rather than swat it to the middle of the ice where the Caps can turn it over with speed. It's not visible in the replay but certainly appears that Letang was headed to the bench and then had to turn around and do a wind sprint to try and catch Kuznetsov.
