First game after what seems like forever...

Schwartz is back and Hakstol has said he will play. PEB shows on Puckpedia as a Leg "fracture" (I guess I had missed that?) out until 18 Jan. Gru also still shows as out until 18 Jan with a week to week LBI.

Sabres have won 3 of their last 5, and have rebounded slightly of late. Tuch returned from injury on Saturday and scored in their win against PIT, while Greenway apparently participated in the morning skate for them (wish we got info like that from Kraken sources).

The Sabres are hard to predict. The talent is there, but they can’t seem to put it together with any consistency.
The story of that franchise's history in a nutshell. Let's grab a win.

Five minutes in and Daccord is a busy man already.

A bad turnover leads to a goal for the Sabres. Now we got to play catch up.

Mix of sloppy play and good hockey from both teams. Nice to have the lead going into the second period.
