Good enough for Ken Holland, Mike Babcock, Mike Illitch, and the Detroit Red Wings, but not good enough for Don Waddell. This is pretty much the Thrashers franchise history (and this thread) in a nutshell.

not to mention the preferred head coach of kovalchuk, hossa, recchi, and holik, all of whom were out the door the minute their contracts expired, if not earlier. waddell sure knows how to build a team, doesn't he?

that said, i don't follow atlanta but have heard good things about john anderson. i guess we'll see whether he was able to turn around the culture of the organization when bogosian hits free agency.
