Jake DeBrusk's production first year pro is a good metre stick for Lind next year. Both early birthday draft picks from the WHL - Lind actually had much better D + 1 production at 1.64 PPG to DeBrusk's 1.07 PPG. DeBrusk's rookie AHL production was 19 + 30 = 49 in 74 GP. If Lind produces around that level we can be happy about his progress.

I can agree with that, especially given Debrusk's progression over the season. 4 points in his first 15 games and then 45 in his last 59 including 16 in his last 16. If Lind has a season like that, he holds onto his value and potential.
