The New Jersey Devils are extremely pleased to announce the re-signing of captain and long-time Devil Zach Parise to a 7 Year deal, worth $48 Million. The deal is front loaded, with Zach receiving $10 million in each of the first two years of the contract. Zach is our franchise player, and we are ecstatic that he has elected to remain on with us for a long time. We see him as a legacy Devil, and a face of the franchise moving forward. We hope to augment this signing with further forward acquisitions in the next couple of days.

We are also thrilled to announce the signing of Jason Garrison to a 4 year deal, worth $15 million. The deal will see Jason paid an average annual cap hit of $3.75 Million. Jason has made tremendous strides with Florida this year, and at the age of 27, he is only just hitting his prime. We hope for many long, productive years with Jason on our blueline.
