Chara and a 1st.

To be honest, he would probably available for just a draft pick. 4th rounder or something.

I'd say a conditional 3rd. If Boston makes the Eastern Conference Finals, it is a 3rd. Otherwise it is a 4th.

You guys already had him. 3rd or 4th I be fine with either or. Hard to believe he was so highly touted at one time. Guys got good wheels and a decent checker but yikes almost no finish.

I think Kobasew would be a great depth pick up for a deadline deal.

3rd rd pick IMO.

I think he's more valuable than a 4th.

Rather have a 3rd or a 3rd line prospect.

Don't worry it would be a 3rd. I expect Boston to go all in on this season and pick up some key rental pieces. IMO Boston is going to be the team to beat in the East when it is all said and done.

I suppose if Mike flippin' Brown is worth a conditional third, then so is Chuck Kobasew.

As Henchman said, Boston wouldn't mind overpaying for grinders when they have a serious cup contending team.minalso agree with Hench as Boston is the team to beat in the East.

I'd want Tyler Seguin and Milan Lucic, who both agree to restructure their contracts to 10 year deals with an AAV of 2 million per season, along with your 1st round picks from 2013 and 2014 in exchange for Chuck Kobasew. Yes, he's that good

Or you could give us a 7th, I don't really care what Kobasew gets lol I'd rather have Malone come up and shift Olver to the wing

Kobasew would be a great fit in Boston this time around. Good bottom-6 guy, works hard, fore and back checks, hits, can play the PK.

Definitely a 3rd rounder in exchange for his services. It would be at the deadline where prices get higher than usual, so it wouldn't be unrealistic to pay for him with a pick that will be in the upper 80's, even with an expiring contract. They'd be able to re-sign him for cheap.
