Ah yes! Mikkola-Fox was our best pair and Mikkola had a +46.42(!!!) ass xGF rel

One game but I kind of felt this would happen.

Love Lindgren, but I don't think we've taken advantage of Fox being able to absorb anyone at LD.
Would be nice to be able to put Lindgren with Schneider

DING DING DING

I've been saying this for a while.

Lindgren is just not good enough offensively. He's a strong player and glue guy but I'd rather have a KAM or by some miracle, a Chychrun, playing with him.

Fox also looked his best in awhile with a new partner.

Not blaming Lindgren (or Fox) but sometimes good things can get stale.

There's more tape than ever (hell, it's right on the bench unless you're the Flyers) and other teams learn tendencies of long-standing lines.

79-8 are also terminally on tape at this point imo.

I had a feeling Mikkola and Fox would be a good pairing

And hopefully playing with Lindgren helps Schneider. The potential on this team is pretty good. They just need to find the right combos and play up to their potential

I love Lindy, but this is good if this continues, won’t have to be married to that Lindy - Fox pairing. Probably going to be without Miller and Lindy for a few games, so lets keep running that current pairing.
