This kid has played very well considering the beating our fans give him.

Excluding 2 games @PHX and @FLA, he has played well.
The team in front of him has played so-so in those games.

Will he be a game changing goalie, steal a game or two? Time will tell but I am willing to take a chance on him.

The team seems to like him overall.

Well....still would not bet it all here, but he certainly looks much better. He seems to be putting more thought into his play rather than just instinctively. His positioning is also much improved in a short period of time.

Don't really blame him tonight, the team died in the third. Would love to see us trade for Justin Peters and sign Hiller in the off season.

On the bright side de Haan has impressed me and i didn't have high hopes for him, just wish he wasn't so soft.

agreed he was quite awful. I know Poulin hasn't played to bad recently (excluding the biggest game of the season last night) but how is there an appreciation thread on a guy with a sub .900 save % and over 3 GAA. Only in Islander country.
