Heatley's bonus?Brassard and Phaneauf’s July 1st bonuses...
Screw DW ,he pays double...He has blowtorched us enough
Thats at the end of the rebuild. No, it requires good young players to step up.
Who do they even have?
EVERY move the Sens make is financially driven. People need to understand that.
Zibanejad. New contract needed ? Dealt.
Turris. New contract needed ? Dealt.
Karlsson. New contract needed? ......
Gaborik is insured but who pays him?
Duchene has an extra year.If the turris trade was about money they would not have taken back Duchene
That's not the only reason we traded Zibenajad and Turris.
This team needed a left-handed centre and Zibanejad was definitely the most underperforming center on the team. Brassard was a noted playoff performer too.
We had a chance to upgrade Turris' position and I think in a vacuum most people would make the trade again. Obviously things haven't gone as well as we'd expect but there's no question in any hockey person's mind who the better player is between Turris and Duchene.
Now that is an amazing media department!
That's good, wasn't sure how that worked but it explains why LA signed him to that deal and we took it on.The insurance companies.
