Kaberle VS Moen

I know many here dont like the thought of it but Gorges play this year may make him a buy out candidate, 5 year remaining at 3.9 million as opposed to Kaberle 1 year at 4.25 million.

Gorges is a shot blocker.

Kaberle is a highly paid fan.

Kaberle is gone.

They have also recently signed these contract (especially Desharnais, who was signed by the current new GM) so it would be both impatient and ill advised to buy them out. As well as a tremendous waste of money because of all the years remaining.

Not to mention that it's probably impossible to buyout a contract who hasn't even started...

Moen can be traded for a mid round pick.

Kaberle will never be taken at his current contract. Hence waiving him.

Considering this is an extremely one-sided debate, and we already have existing threads on both Kaberle and Moen, I don't see the point in keeping this one open.
