Since it's straight up, it's a lot harder than people think. I removed some players who likely are worth more to us at this point than they are traded, but kept others who might be as well.

Nathan Beaulieu: 2nd round pick
Michael Bournival: 3rd round pick
Rene Bourque: Setoguchi (expect that kind of player back)
David Desharnais: Moulson
Lars Eller: Perron + Pick
Alexei Emelin: Nurse
Zachary Fucale: 2nd round pick
Alex Galchenyuk: Morgan Rielly + 1st <--- meh, probably still wouldn't do it.

Brendan Gallagher: 2nd + prospect
Tom Gilbert: 5th round pick
Manny Malhotra: 2nd round pick at deadline
Andrei Markov: 1st + prospect
Michael McCarron: 1st round pick
Travis Moen: Future considerations
Max Pacioretty: 1st + Andrew Ladd + Jake Trouba
P.A. Parenteau: 2nd round pick
Tomas Plekanec 1st round pick + prospect

Carey Price: Pekka Rinne + F. Forsberg
Brandon Prust: 3rd + future considerations
Nikita Scherbak: 1st + prospect
Jiri Sekac: 1st round pick at deadline
P.K. Subban: Seth Jones + F. Forsberg + R. Josi + 1st + 2nd + 3rd
Christian Thomas: 5th round pick
Dustin Tokarski: 2nd round pick
Mike Weaver: 2nd round pick at deadline
Dale Weise: 3rd round pick

Not saying I'd do any of these trades but I'd be expecting this kind of value for these players. Some of them like Sekac are quite comical maybe, but it's what I'd try to get, in a lot of cases if you can't get an overpayment just keep the player. Some guys would probably have more value at deadline too. I think Malhotra for a faceoff inept team heading into the playoffs could be overpaid. Look what Buffalo got a few years back from Nashville.

All in all though, most of these players would be more easy to move in a package.

The Subban and Patches trades would never ever work from the opposing team's, sorry but both aren't worth this much at all.
