I said this last year and I’ll say it again.
Benn is a good bottom pairing 15 minute guy.

Playing on the right as a lhd gives him better angles to make plays and shoot. He certainly seems much better on the right all round.

In some areas, but not as many areas as our previous two coaches.

Credit where it’s due, he’s been solid thus far. Would be great if he could keep it up.

I’ll cop to shitting on this dude pretty harshly. If he ends up being 2021 Luke Schenn for this team then that’s awesome.

To be fair, 3 of his 4 games have been blowouts against Ottawa, whereas others are dragged down by the putrid first two weeks of play.

With 3/4 games being against Ottawa I will reserve judgment but his play has been encouraging.
