I think Staal signing that contract here would’ve been pretty solid once the kids came around.

Also, it probably spells Letang getting traded which would make a sect of this board happy.

The trickle down effect of him not signing here aside, I can’t really get behind signing a guy who only averages about 45 points a year to that contract. I think he was extremely overrated when he was here, and I am glad he moved on.

I'll never forgive him for the dogcrap effort he displayed on this goal. He was overrated when he was here and acted like a baby because he wasn't getting prime ice time. Good riddance
