Tough for kings fans. As an oiler fan I can't be upset because of the division, playoffs and what not but sucks seeing quick go down he's a great player.

i think we'd rather keep stalock and dish kuemper. not because of relative skill but because of cap hit (we're pressed). also kuemper is going to want a starting job next contract and we can't offer that.

so does LA start shopping for a goalie? Based on what I saw from Zatkoff last season, he is not the answer as a long-term starter (or even a short-term starter) and Budaj has played exactly one NHL game since the 2014.

Oh boy, I can't wait to get a castoff goalie and a young middling forward for our 30+ goal best winger on his bridge contract. Come on.

Could just give us Berube back :sarcasm:

It's the most Kings thing ever that right after their goalie depth got purged (Jones out, Berube waivers, Bartosak stupidity, etc.) Quick got hurt.

Hey! No castoff goalies on the Islanders.

Fine, you can have MDC AND Nelson and Berube for Toffoli :)

They'd be better off addressing their forward depth. You can't win if you don't score.

Seems to me it would make the most sense to give a call to the Islanders about one of their three goalies.

You know, the Penguins last year ran a Fleury-Zatkoff tandem for a while, and it turned out pretty okay.
