Looks like an escalator just like every other contract Snow has negotiated. Only makes $4M next year and then it goes up 500K/year.

The length is questionable but the money is just fine. At the end of the day it's what needed to be done and I'm very very very happy. I even did a little dance hahaha.

Honestly, it doesn't seem like Snow has to worry about that for a little while. Our team is pretty complete and we still have Reinhart/Pulock/Mayfield/Pelech around on the blue line. We also have MDC and Ho-Sang up front.

We're all set for the immediate future where Snow won't have to pursue any big free agents. Considering the stupid money UFA's get... it's a sound strategy.
