Martin, Renny, Dineen, Boucher, Wilson.
And to a lesser extent Crawford and Keenan.

Would be my preferences right now.
I'd play the odds. Look at all of the top teams in the league. All NHL retreads.

The Pens are going to hire Mike Johnston, his less than ethical practices as coach/GM in Portland will be brought up.

Mark Madden will refer to him as the dirtiest player in the game, yell "woo" a bunch of times, wheeze and talk about pornstars.

They could hire Pee Wee Herman for all I care at this point.

Could someone give me some insight on how Wilson coaches?

All I know is that the leafs sucked with him at helm but was that more the team than him? And also Team USA actually played pretty great when he coached so I would like to know please

Wilson and Crawford would be the two worst choices for this team by far. Wilson is another airhead like Bylsma and Crawford has a tendency of having all his players hate him with both being chronic underachievers.

I'd happily take Keenan over those two and I don't want him coaching the team either.

Wouldn't mind Renney, but I'm expecting Wilson or Crawford because nothing about this off season has made any sense.

I can't wait to see what kind of weird stuff goes down when it comes time for roster moves.

I really don't know who I like anymore. Most of the guys left are big risks or warm bodies.

This coaching hire is probably the most important move of JR's tenure and I'm very dismayed at losing Peters and Willie. Paging Mr Blashill...

Even though we really aren't hearing Wilson's or Renney's name. I can actually say keeping Bylsma would have net the same playoff results as either of those two will.

Ok, I have to ask this, and maybe it has been discussed, I haven't read the posts from previous threads on the coaching. But I have to get this off my chest. WTF!? How do the Pens loose a coach to VANCOUVER!? Who the hell sits down, says I can pick Pittsburgh or Vancouver and picks, THEM!?

Did he say to himself, "you know, I don't think I'm that good of a coach. If I choose Pittsburgh, they will expect me to win. But if I choose Vancouver then I don't have to meet any standards. I bet I could take a big steaming **** right on the bench, and no one would care. Hell, they hired John ****ing Tortorella, and he WAS a big steaming **** on the bench."

Maybe he figured there would be some kind of a sliding scale, like, "sure we only won 25 games this year, but at least we showed up to all our games on time. What more can you expect?"

I just don't get it, what could make someone choose the ****storm in Vancouver over a job like Pittsburgh. I'm not saying a job like coaching the Pens doesn't come with its share of drawbacks, lets face it, nothing short of the SCF is good enough. But Vancouver? what could he possibly see in THAT team. "I get to pick top ten a lot for the next few years, YAY!"

Someone please explain this to me. I must be missing something. I just don't understand this at all, and I'm not the kind to ever leave something unexplained. Please help me make this make sense.
