They need to look at two areas the power play and yes short handed.
Their power play basically lost the Florida series. A pp goal would surely have helped their weak offense in these one goal games.
In regards to the short handed and staying in the box and collapsing down in front of the net to be a human target ran out it welcome years ago. Yes I know they had success in the regular season but playoffs were a different season. Time to get aggressive on the short handed and force others teams to make mistakes.

Leafs scored 1 power play goal in 7 games.

Florida got 4 in one game. In the other 5 games they had 2 powerplay goals, one of them being the shouldn't have counted Bennett goal.
