How about another OT win? There’s something for everyone to like in those. Positive types will find good things to say while the more critical folks will have plenty to complain about, yet everyone ends up being somewhat happy.

I'm having hard time getting against the Lightning. Those blown leads by the Jets earlier in the season has me rattled.

IIRC our record against TB isn't stellar but this one's a coin flip. Vegas agrees it seems; they have the Jets at -115 and the Bolts at -105. I'm saying TB though. Just my gut feeling.

I watched Lowry shutdown Stamkos and Kucherov last year in Winnipeg.

Being on home ice helps.
But like any NHL game... ANYTHING can happen.
I just hope we don't have a full melt down (i.e. get blown out and embarrassed)

A little over a month from now is when I feel we will start to see where we really are at.
By then we should either have put a gap between us and the Wild Card teams or not.
I'd rather fight over top spot in the division / conference / league then scrap it out for 3rd in the Central and the Wild Card spots.

(Whoops almost left the "out" out of the melt down sentence above... that really changes the tone of that example)

I voted TB. Not that I believe the Jets can't beat them, but I have to give the Bolts the edge. Their record is a testament to how will they're doing.

However, I will happily eat crow (pass the BBQ sauce!) should the Jets win

You think Jets are the only team to blow leads?
Its happening on a regular bases this year to a lot of teams ... oh by the way the Lightning have blown 3rd period leads against the Wild, Senators and Flyers.
