We're getting what we deserve. Defend Pavelec all you want, he's a garbage goaltender and can't come up with a big save anymore. He's not an NHL goalie. As for the cherry picking, well, teams are going to continue to do that because we haven't learned to burn them when they do.
never been a tank mode guy but have never been confident in this core that we have had. Its now or never to move ladd and buff. Time to rebuild a new core and let wheeler and little be their leaders.

I really hope Maurice says something about the refs in the post-game. Those losers ****ing deserve it. The refs are so beyond defending at this point. You get a penalty for wearing the wrong jersey now.

Buff gets called because he was beat and clearly wasnt going to catch Eakin, so he grabbed him and slowed him down. Buff is a Dman who can't defend, he doesn't understand the defensive side of the game. He's given up two clear cut breakaways in two games, his mistakes are glaring and theres just no need for them. Defend when its time to defend!!

You have a right to go for the puck, rewatch that play again, it wasnt a penalty. He went right for the puck and didnt hold the Eakin at all. Thats an awful call.
And if you really really want to point fingers at a under performing look no further then Enstrom.
Exactly how many odd man rushes and breakaways do you need to give up before you learn when to pinch? He pinches EVERY TIME. Not only that but now its gotten so bad when the other team has the puck they just send the forwards up and he stands on the blue line and simply stares at the puck carrier until the pass goes by him.
That just shouldnt be possible at this level on a regular basis. Where Enstrom used to be good was against Eastern teams because they were smaller, well they still are smaller and now Enstrom sucks against them as well. He struggles in our zone, wont shoot, stays glued to the blue line when he should be already at our redline, and is now developed a new art of taking bad penalties.
