To make sure I’m properly understanding the situation, Pistol is good friends with Spott. Spott runs the PP, and hasn’t don’t a great job of doing so for a couple of seasons now. Pistol nor DW does nothing about it.

In Columbus, Torts is great friends with Brad Larsen (CBJ’s PP coach). When they have been struggling, they try to address it. Heading into the playoffs last year, they brought on Marty St. Louis as a consultant. Now this season they struggled again with Larsen and without Marty, so they decided to bring Paul MacLean. They now have 4 PP goals in 4 games since he joined the staff.

Is that not an option for this FO or staff?
