Nice GDT YWG

We live in the central so every game literally feels like a must win. this has to get normal at some point doesn't it.......guys........throw a team playing 8 of 9 on the road a bone.

Hoping ESP have a big game they are due to be the hot hand.

I'm curious about Garret's post (pg 4 post #95) in the PGT - the one where he corrects Trouba's TOI stat. Is the last column, titled OZS, Offensive Zone Starts?

Would that not be an indicator of one team's domination of the game? IE only one line (the so-called shut-down line) with less than 50% OZS, and the rest of the team with really high OZS?

Or am I reading more into that than I should?

Also, Enstrom is really, really good at hockeying - he does so many little things right that most people never notice, so much so that he allows #33 to do the Buff thing for most of their shifts. Focus on his play for an entire shift; his angles are second to none, he can lob the puck into the N-zone better than anybody not named Lidstrom, and his extremely quick decision making usually leads to getting the puck to the high forward thus relieving pressure. How many times a game does the Enstrom pairing have to ice the puck? Almost never.

7-3-1..Good enough for wild card 2 woo!

CBC brought this up between games last night... Called the Habs and Jets Canada's best teams, and then pointed out that an argument could be made that the Jets are better than the Habs given the division they're in, and the teams they've played so far, compared to the teams Montreal has faced.

Huge game, need to keep up with the rest of the central and put more space between us and the hawks.

I'd love to think that but Montreals goal differential says different.

I always remember us having problems against the Habs.

Prove me wrong Jets, wax the Habs and I'll be impressed.

This truly is the REAL test.
