His defensive metrics for the year were excellent, amongst the tops on the team and his plus minus was best of the entire forward group. Add to that he is better offensively than everyone in the bottom six, and I am not sure what the argument is.

i don't think they should rush him back, the team is doing well and his future is more important than a playoff run , but if he is healthy he certainly helps the team be better

Yeah, make sure he's fully healthy first. A number of people are really selling him short here. He's no selke candidate but he is definitely solid defensively and among the best on the team at exiting and gaining the zone. He is also very sound positionally and takes good lines on the ice. All things that really play into Bones schemes.

Even when he wasn't scoring in that last slump he was still contributing by playing solid all around hockey. Whereas most of the rest of our top 6 were bleeding goals.

I thought I was hallucinating when Chef was backchecking, Connor hitting and he got involved in a scrum. This is the buy in we need to see. The Piss Knights will come out hot tomorrow. F-ck Vegas!

Anyone here have a playoff superstitions? Mine will be listening to the opposing teams PxP.
I just listen to ESPN because their PxP is objectively better than Sportsnet... And they actually talk about the game/Jets instead of the Laffs during intermission.

The Jets kind of dummied the Knights.

I'd expect a push back game from f*** vegas next game.
No Doubt! I’d expect a more physical game. As long as Jets keep the energy flowing (not a AJF reference) and the refs are not pushing a Casino agenda, we should have lots of offensive chances, PK or 5-5. All I’m hoping for is the energy.
As long as our O-zone time is equal or greater than Lost Wages, the game is ours. But we will need net-front presence, regardless if it’s Lowry, DuBois, Menalaenen, Niedereiter or even Wheels and Scheiff.
If Jets keep the pressure on, the Knights’ armour will fall off and the matchup could be over in 4, but I’m expecting 5 games, six at the most.
To all of us visiting Vegas, “Keep your Jets shirts on guys!”

Late to the dance but crazy busy two days at work. Watched the game and really liked it obviously.

I thought the first two periods favoured us but were close. Where the game swung was how we really dominated and choked the life out of them in the 3rd.

What stood out was how Dubois put the 1st line on his back. He was the alpha dog in this game. I have missed that out of our skilled players since Buff left.

Lots of other things to like and honestly nothing that bothered me which is rare.

I expect Vegas to storm back tonight. They need game 2 and will be desperate.

I found myself looking through Google searches to find any Jets-related articles, when I came across this result
