That is not a championship defense, to say the least.

It's not a championship defense but Morrissey-Buff are 25 minutes of tough defense next year. Chiarot-Niku actually performed rather well.

Now Kulikov-Pionk does not scream championship but add Samberg in Kulikov's spot, hopefully if this group can claw to the playoffs, and it looks brighter.

Myers gets sluffed so much but the Jets still kept winning with Buff out, and Myers was a big part. He might be the best top 4 RH d-man on the market, so I expect him to go West.

Byfuglien is 250+ lbs of aging joints. It is a major risk to commit your entire right side to him and a couple bums.

It’s is beyond painful reading some of the B.S. you cretins post. They didn’t trade away Trouba to keep Myers. They traded him because Trouba was going to leave anyway and they’d just assume have the money he’d have made this year to address the RFA’s they have his summer. Further, it’s not like there are a ton of high need d-men floating around. It’s either sign Myers, or someone worse. The only other way to acquire a d-man to replace Trouba and Myers would be to start trading forwards.

As far as getting a better return for Trouba, you people act like there were teams like up around the block for Trouba, and Chevy decided to take the worst possible deal for the thrill of it.

Russell and Benning are bottom pair D-men. Myers is better then either but nowhere near enough to justify his salary. If he's healthy I'd easily take Sekera over Myers, and Gardiner is at least a full tier higher.

He showed 2 years ago those kind of minutes are too much for him. His minutes need to be managed so come the end of the season and playoffs he’s not toast.
