Just lol'd at Kakko's #45 if he ends up using it. So random - the guy has played with #24 and is known to wear it. Well no can do if Nieves wants to wear it.

#1Cs don’t give up their numbers for rookies. Even if Nieves is going to be a C in Hartford while the rookie is the one who makes the team...

My apologies for yet another post. But, the PR twitter account for the Jets just released this:



2-bit wore that number in Milwaukee and Nashville.

Tolvanen wore #11 in Milwaukee. He played 4 games in Nashville. Brian Boyle wore #11 for 26 games last season.

9 is such an unlucky number with the Canucks. I find it funny because it's the most common retired number in the NHL, I would've thought the Canucks would've had that number retired 20 years ago.
