I'm just glad I'll be watching Sabres hockey in the fall. I was two feet off the ledge and free falling until I read this news.

If it was temporary, he'd be the "Interim General Manager". Maybe this is a precursor to a (Vice) President of Hockey Ops???? This way Kim can focus on the business??

It seems like they want a coach/GM relationship like McDermott/Beane have with the Bills. Both guys having input on player/roster decisions. For the Bills McDermott was there a year before Beane as well I believe.
