My bet is on Murray ending up as a better goalie than Jarry, if he gets on a contending team and a competent coach he will kill it again,

Looks like we're going in a "riskier" direction as opposed to "definitely stable and risk-free" bonafide NHL stud goalie Matt Murray.
100 percent think this is the case but sadly we don't have the extra 5m to see it here. And i love Murray. My bet is on Murray ending up as a better goalie than Jarry, if he gets on a contending team and a competent coach he will kill it again,

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Jarry is a long-term solution. But I'll be honest, I kind of think we'll eventually need another in like 4-5 years, unless we want to keep Jarry for the rebuild.
I think Jarry has it in him to be as good.My bet is on Murray ending up as a better goalie than Jarry, if he gets on a contending team and a competent coach he will kill it again,
The biggest question this season will be if Jarry will be thrashed about by fans for not being Fleury or if it was just Murray because he replaced him thing.

It's the latter.
Jarry is already Satan because everyone is convinced that he's Surrogate MAF just for not being Murray.
Even though it's obvious that Emil Larmi is Surrogate MAF, right down to the goofy-arse personality and lacking performance.
I hate that people still think this narrative exists. The biggest question this season will be if Jarry will be thrashed about by fans for not being Fleury or if it was just Murray because he replaced him thing.
Jarry is far better at handling the puck which will be a big benefit to the D.
