He had symptomatic COVID at 37.
Carter does not look like he's ready to return but we're out of forwards.
I think we could have managed the taxi squad better. No reason Z shouldn't be in there. Icing 7 D has been, and will always be a stupid idea.
- Sullivan already pulling the McCann with Rodrigues. Excelling at C and puts him at W for reasons.
Bringing the same post from the GDT.
Really the only guy I'm super critical of in this game is Carter, because he's been off for a while so he should be coming back rested. But the way he's skating out there makes him look like he's even more gassed than everyone else on the team.
I can't get too critical on the team when they're coming off a 10 game winning streak and are playing shorthanded in their 3rd game in 3.5 days. But I do think Carter deserves to be criticized for being heavily responsible for 2 goals against while coming in fully rested.
But he's also fully vaxxed as far as I know, and the symptomatic impacts of people who have been fully vaxxed are almost always very mild.
I really don't think that being Covid positive with symptons means that Carter is rested. He looks gassed because his body had to fight Covid, just like many other players when they came back from a covid infection with symptoms.
I thought overall we had a great 1st period and then we lost momentum and had trouble finding a way back into the game. Still had some good chances to put the game away but couldn't capitalize on them. Overall thats a loss you can live with, especially given the circumstances.
I mean it was him or Simon on that wing lol
Cancel the parade! They are going to miss the playoffs! Beginning of the end!
Am I doing this right?
C'mon, you've been around longer than that!Malkin can't be blamed for f***ing up the streak now at least
This is valid, but Carter was also heavily responsible for 2 goals against in that game. If he was just gassed and looked tired, I wouldn't have a problem. But he looked gas and was a huge reason they lost.
Idk, maybe he wouldn't have played had McGinn and Rust not gotten sick, but he pretty clearly didn't look ready to go today.
Yep. My tenant is fit, Iron Man competitor, he had three shots, got Covid last week and was uncomfortably ill for a few days. No hospital, but definitely sick. You can still get pretty fatigued. I'd give him a few games before being too worried about his game.

None of the D are waiver exempt right?
The second Carter comes back the team immediately looks like shit. I half expected this. Carter looks half speed and his age. Even before covid he did not look good and should have been playing wing.
I'm not sure where Carter fits with this team, but he for sure should not be centering his own line.
