You'd be hard pressed to find two players more different. I don't like these polls. Guentzel will likely score more, but will he have the same impact on a team that Staal can when you consider how successful he is at shutting down the leagues best? If they traded positions would Guentzel being out there without significant help on the Canes, a team lacking scoring, have more of a positive impact for them than Staal would?

Why? It's not like he plays a speed game where he will start losing a step on his opponent. Barring some sort of injury, he should be just as capable of playing his style of game at 32 as he is at 28.
