Although it isn't a huge trade, it is still a good trade. Basically, Feaster/Burke secured a 6th round pick to replace our own, while being able to trade away an 8 year older Jackman for a similar player in MacDermid. MacDermid still has limited potential to improve, whereas Jackman has surely plateaued. This just tells me that Feaster and Burke have their finger on the pulse. Surely Anaheim would of rather had Mac over Jackman. Our management has been terrific this season with our lower assets.

I'm not going to lose sleep if it's the 180th pick instead of the 200th pick - I'm fairly certain it's a huge roll of the dice at that point in the draft anyways.

I'm certain as well. Plus where do you draw the line? Had it been only a difference of 5 selections, such as the 180th and 185th, is that worth it to a GM.

Picking and choosing battles, I say.
