I mean if you want to say the Sabres have more leverage...well maybe/maybe not but sure go ahead. That is definitely what they should be doing ... Sabres have all the leverage over opposing teams and Eichel.. they should not be relinquishing that.
Yep. Because that has happened ever.
Right because it won't happen. Jack will suck it up and play

"All the leverage" no sorry. If they did we wouldn't be talking about dealing Eichel at all.
He's injured.
They disagree on how to handle that.
He wants out.
They are bad.
Their tank & rebuild strategy is an abject failure.
He has a contract that reduces the number of teams he can go to.
All those things give Jack and other teams "some" leverage. How much is debatable, but this "the Sabres have all the leverage" stuff is wishful thinking.
They have less leverage now than they did when they traded ROR.
Ponder that...
Bruins. I think they snag him without giving up pasta and McAvoy.Who would be your surprise team to get Eichel?

he won’t play there. All insiders have said he is getting traded. The idea that the sabres will just refuse to trade him is nuts
Good luck ....He's right. You guys are delusional. Jack Eichel is elite. Just because the Sabres are a bad team with bad management doesn't mean Sabres fans shouldn't ask the proper price. Make no mistake, 2 top prospects + is the proper price.
Good luck ....
I agree on 2 prospects plus adds .. just not BOTH Vilaridi AND Turcotte. It's one plus someone else ....He ain't wrong...
I mean fans of other teams will have issue moving big pieces and that's fine but Eichel doesn't move for a small price. All this talk of injury concerns and Eochel wanting out are a bit fluffy. Sabres don't have to trade him.

Wonder what team gets stuck with him .. hopefully not the Kings. You must be confused.. This is Jack Eichel we are talking about..
Montreal. First pick, Kk and a contract?
You do have a point here. Every offseason all we hear is, "Eichel is upset and dissatisfied with losing in Buffalo" and every year it's the same thing. They add Skinner, add Dahlin, add Oloffsson, add some vet D, add Taylor Hall, etc. and yet it's always the same thing. What has Eichel done to help lift the Sabres out of the basement? It's always the fault of the coaches, GM, other players, etc.Drama Queen and Eichel go hand in hand.
