Many don't recall the era of the Bruins having Ned Flanders call the play-by-play. "Saku Koivu enters the Bruins zone and Brad Stuart tries to pokely-dokely the puck away."

I'd rather the game be called by five Steigerwalds than ever listen to Dale Arnold again - Nyquil in human form.

As long as when fights happen he and his partner just dont talk about it ever on brodcast sure. His job is to be biased but sometimes its to much to here about how a bruin clonnered a guy after landing no pumches and being knocked out. I WANT TO LIKE THE BRUINS SO BAD!!!! Just trade Marchand and get a new broadcast team =(

Jack is the best pure play-by-play guy in hockey 99% of the time. He's more prepared, knowledgeable and passionate than anyone out there (h/t to the LA guys). But 1% of the time he's a crazy homer and those are the clips on youtube that everyone judges him on.

ROFLMFAO.

You got your percentages backwards, also Jack Edwards and best don't belong in the same sentence unless it is something like
"Jack Edward is not the best.. "

I mean, he gets worked up whenever there is a physical event, whether excited or upset. The guy is clearly passionate about the game, willing to give the opponent their due when deserved, and has a great voice for the game. But he certainly is one of the kookiest announcers in the NHL right now.

Why is this on the main boards?

Seems like something only Bruins fans care about.
