The other goalies had similar numbers. I think most people expected him to be the starter, but it wasn’t like he was killing it.

He’s also one of the youngest players on the team.

Germany lost players to Covid before coming over. Then they lost more in quarantine. So they have 14 skaters per night. They were real competitive the first night when fresh but that’s tough to back up especially when playing Canada.

So basically they’re ****ed!

Yeah they are under the pump. Great first game but having to play so many minutes will make it so they can’t win any B2B’s
